Zona Rosa Pursues Green Renovation at Mall’s Northern End

Zona Rosa representatives have signaled that they soon will begin an effort to place more emphasis on the “mixed-use” in “mixed-use town center,” adding new public spaces in place of existing but empty retail ones.

Mall operator Trademark Property Co. of Fort Worth this fall will kick off the first phase of a multimillion-dollar planned renovation for Zona Rosa, which sits near Interstate 29 and Barry Road in the Northland. Trademark took over the retail center in 2018 from prior operator Olshan Properties.

Zona Rosa is a mixed-use development that opened north of the river in 2004.
