Mendocino Farms and maman will open their first Fort Worth locations at the mixed-use community
FORT WORTH (Nov. 4, 2026) – Trademark Property Company today announced two retail concepts will join Westbend Residences, a mixed-use project featuring 321 multifamily units and ground-floor retail in Fort Worth’s University District adjacent to the Westbend office and retail district. maman, a French-inspired bakery and café founded in New York, and Mendocino Farms, a premium fast-casual restaurant, will open in 2027.
Known for its specialty coffee and curated menu of French-inspired cuisine and artisanal baked goods, maman has been planting roots in Dallas since 2024, now operating multiple locations in the market. Its first storefront in Fort Worth, a 2,241-square-foot space at Westbend Residences, will feature its signature vintage-inspired furnishings with blue toile design details. Visitors can order espresso, tea, housemade pastries, and made-to-order savory menu items for dine-in, pickup, or delivery. Fan-favorite menu items include katie’s chicken sandwich, elisa’s mediterranean harvest bowl, and maman’s seasonal Martha Stewart menu collaboration.
With a 2,522-square-foot space, Mendocino Farms will open its sixth location in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and first in Fort Worth at Westbend Residences. Visitors can expect craft salads and sandwiches using the highest-quality ingredients and staple menu items like the “Not So Fried” Chicken Sandwich, The Farm Club, and the Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada.
“Mendocino Farms’ first Texas location opened in 2019, and since then we’ve expanded to serve communities across Houston, Austin, Dallas, and now Fort Worth,” said Alicia Mowder, chief marketing officer of Mendocino Farms. “This city has such a vibrant food scene, and we can’t wait for the Westbend community to experience the care we put into our sandwiches and salads, from the ingredients we choose to the creative ways we combine them, along with the warm hospitality our team brings to every visit. We look forward to opening in 2027 and becoming part of the neighborhood.”
Situated on 3.5 acres along the Trinity Trails, Westbend Residences is located in one of Fort Worth’s most walkable urban neighborhoods with direct access to Texas Christian University, premier retail and dining options, and outdoor recreation, including public amenities oriented to the trail. The seven-story mixed-use community will feature premium finishes, two resort-style pools, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a dog spa, and a two-story parking garage. The community is slated to welcome its first residents in the first quarter of 2027.
“With the addition of maman and Mendocino Farms, we are able to offer a curated, all-day dining experience for future residents,” said Chad A. Colley, multifamily and mixed-use partner at Trademark. “Soon, residents and visitors can start their day with a coffee from maman and stop in at Mendocino Farms for lunch or dinner. Both brands are nationally recognized and beloved, and we know they will meet demand here in Fort Worth.”
Westbend Residences complements neighboring Westbend, which Trademark redeveloped in 2016 and includes 281,000 square feet of office and retail space. The property’s retail footprint is 100% leased to a mix of national and local tenants. The district features an extensive public art program, including the iconic Love sculpture by Laura Kimpton, works from the Amon Carter photography collection, and a series of curated murals by well-known local artists.
Westbend Residences expands Trademark’s growing multifamily platform, which focuses on developing highly connected residential communities in top Texas markets. Recent projects include The Vickery, a multifamily-led mixed-use community overlooking downtown Fort Worth, which celebrated its grand opening this past summer. In Dallas, Trademark will soon break ground on a third multifamily community in the Turtle Creek neighborhood, a 362-unit project that will feature pocket park and an elevated amenity terrace.
