CLEVELAND (Sept. 21, 2026) — Beachwood Place is heading into the holiday season with new retail momentum. Trademark Property Company (Trademark), a mixed-use investor, developer, and operator, has added a string of new tenants and celebrated openings in recent weeks at the Beachwood, Ohio shopping mall, including Toys “R” Us, Another Scoop, Chokolata Dessert Cafe, and Kiki’s Gifts. Victoria’s Secret and PINK also recently reopened following a full remodel, a sign of continued investment from an established national retailer at the center.
“We’re seeing new energy at Beachwood Place heading into the busiest shopping season of the year,” said Brent Willis, General Manager at Trademark. “New tenants are signing on, and established retailers like Victoria’s Secret and PINK are reinvesting in their stores. Retailers are betting on this center, and we expect that momentum to carry through the holidays.”
Iconic toy retailer Toys “R” Us is set to open this fall in the center court. The opening follows a run of new arrivals at the center. Modern ice cream parlor, Another Scoop, opened Sept. 1; Chokolata Dessert Cafe opened Sept. 15; and Kiki’s Gifts will be opening in early October. Beachwood Place also recently welcomed Top Fashion, a children’s clothing and plush toy store, and Piercings N More.
Beachwood Place’s activity mirrors a broader shift in the mall sector. Mall values rose 13% over the past year, the best performance of any commercial property sector, according to Green Street. The new activity builds on an already strong retail lineup at Beachwood Place, anchored by Nordstrom, Dillard’s, Zara, H&M, Coach, and Tommy Bahama, among other national and regional brands.
“Retail is hav
ing a resurgence with renewed interest from tenants and investors,” said Terry Montesi, CEO and Founder of Trademark Property Company. “Malls have quietly become one of the strongest asset classes in commercial real estate, and we’re seeing it firsthand across our portfolio with both our mall and mixed-use assets.”
Trademark was selected to oversee leasing and management efforts at Beachwood Place in January 2026. Additionally, the firm assumed management, leasing, and operations of Atlantic Station, a 138-acre mixed-use district in Atlanta, in August 2026. Trademark also recently announced renovation plans at Longview Mall in Longview, Texas, and is continuing its phased renovation strategy at Galleria Dallas, which recorded the highest sales per square foot in the mall’s 44-year history this summer. The firm has more than 830,000 square feet of new retail space under development or redevelopment. To learn more about Trademark’s properties and pipeline, visit trademarkproperty.com.
