NEW RETAILERS & RESTAURANTS

Adventure gear retailer Cotopaxi, which makes durable goods as ethically and sustainably as possible, is now open at Galleria Dallas. The store sells women’s, men’s and children’s clothing and shoes, as well as gear including packing cubes, backpacks, duffel bags and coolers. Cotopaxi donates at least 1% of revenue to nonprofits that help communities experiencing poverty. The store is located on Level 2 near Macy’s.

Also open is Intimissimi, offering women’s intimates and clothing designed with the modern woman in mind. With fashionable cuts and styles, its clothing and lingerie provide chic yet comfortable styles to carry you through your day. Galleria Dallas is home to Intimissimi’s first Texas store, and the Italian brand is an exciting addition to Galleria Dallas’ international collection of retailers. The boutique is on Level 1 across from Sephora.

H&M is expanding to accommodate the first H&M Home in DFW. H&M Home sells home goods ranging from duvet covers to linen napkins to planters and more. H&M Home will occupy 7,500 square feet on Level 2 near Nordstrom in addition to the existing H&M store, which sells men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and accessories.

North Italia, one of the top Italian concepts in the United States, will open this fall across from The Blue Fish. North Italia is passionate about more than just its beloved Italian food menu. The restaurant pays attention to every detail, creating special moments for its diners. The restaurant uses only the best ingredients to create and serve consistently crave-worthy food, like its chef’s choice daily pizza and fresh pasta made from scratch. The restaurant offers a full bar with a house-made cocktail menu as well.

Salut Paris Bakery, opening on Level 1 this summer, provides fresh, delicate French pastries based on traditional French baking techniques, using the finest ingredients. Galleria Dallas will be this locally owned bakery’s first shopping-center location, with all pastries produced by a French-trained pastry chef.

MOVES AND MORE

Louis Vuitton has signed a long-term lease and is expanding to build an entirely new store. The store will move to its temporary location on Level 1 next to Sephora this summer with renovations for the luxury retailer’s expanded, permanent boutique expected to take six months.

Bachendorf’s has moved into a temporary space on Level 1 while a new, larger store is being prepared for its permanent location. The new store, which includes an individual Rolex store, is scheduled to open in October.

Luciano Pizza and Pasta has completed a remodel and reopened to diners. The restaurant, which offers pizza by the slice and by the pie, as well as a full pasta bar, salads, calzones and desserts, combines great food, friendly service and affordability in a comfortable family atmosphere. Luciano’s is located on Rink Level.

Mi Cocina has reopened after a major remodel. The restaurant serves Tex-Mex favorites that are hand-crafted and made fresh daily using authentic Mexican cooking techniques and the finest ingredients available. Mi Cocina is located on Rink Level.

Nordstrom Marketplace Café, the contemporary food marketplace located within Nordstrom, has moved to a new location on Level 2. The Café is perfect for a casual meal, offering wonderful menu selections to satisfy a discerning palate, along with a daily happy hour. Beer and wine are available, too.

If you’ve visited Galleria Dallas lately, you may have noticed the installation of new carpeting throughout the center. The new look is fresh and bright. That’s just the first of many updates Galleria Dallas is excited to announce:

  • Common area lighting has been replaced with energy-efficient LEDs as part of the center’s Green Initiative.
  • The corridor leading toward the skating rink from the Westin Galleria Dallas is being straightened and widened and will feature new lighting and furnishings, all in an elevated setting.
  • Plans to renovate the plaza known as “The Alley,” the future home of North Italia, are underway. While plans are not finalized, they will include green space and upgraded furnishings for a dramatically enhanced customer experience.
  • All furniture on Rink Level and Level 1 of Galleria Dallas will be replaced beginning this fall.
