Waterside is the first ground-up Conscious Place
FORT WORTH, Texas (Oct. 5, 2016) – Trademark Property Co. will celebrate the grand opening of Waterside, the new 63-acre mixed-use property at Bryant Irvin Road and Arborlawn Drive, with a Tree Planting Ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 9:30 a.m.
Anchored by Whole Foods and REI, Waterside is the first ground-up Conscious Place, Trademark’s stakeholder-driven experiential development model.
The ceremony will take place in Waterside’s signature public space, The Grove, which is designed around several heritage trees. In place of a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, a Red Oak tree will be planted as a nod to Trademark’s vision for the property and its status as the first Conscious Place.
Attendees also will enjoy interactive painting with local artist Brandi Cottingham during which guests and speakers will contribute to a Waterside-themed collage and bites from Piattello Italian Kitchen, Chef Marcus Paslay’s new restaurant opening this fall at Waterside.
