Tony Chron rejoins Trademark in new role
FORT WORTH, Texas (April 24, 2013) – Trademark Property, the Fort Worth-based retail and mixed-use development, investment and services firm, today announced Tony Chron has rejoined the company as chief development officer. Chron began his new role on April 15.
“Bringing Tony back is an important investment in our development capacity,” said Trademark Chairman-CEO Terry Montesi. “He provides a wealth of knowledge and experience and we are very happy to once again have him at Trademark as our development business gains momentum.”
With more than 25 years of retail and development experience, Chron will oversee Trademark’s power and community center development program as well as the company’s redevelopment efforts.
He joins Trademark from Houston-based Weingarten Realty where he was regional director of development. Prior experience includes directing real estate expansion for national retailer Michaels as vice president of real estate, as well as for Pier One where he served as director of real estate. Chron also was a senior partner with Trademark, serving as executive vice president of development from 1997-2009.
Projects during his previous stint with Trademark include the initial phase of the popular Alliance Town Center in far north Fort Worth, Texas, as well as the company’s Gateway Station project located in Burleson, Texas.
