Fort Worth-based Trademark Property Co., a real estate investment and development firm, has finished building a three-story, 57,000-square-foot Class A office building near the Trinity River.
The building, called WestBend 2, at 1701 River Run Road will be part of Trademark’s 278,000-square-foot WestBend mixed-use development in the University District of Fort Worth.
The walkability of the mixed-used development will give office tenants an attractive amenity, said CEO Terry Montesi.
“Today’s workforce expects experiential components, and this property provides just that,” he said in a statement.
WestBend includes a recently opened Fresh Market, as well as other retail shops and restaurants, such as Zoe’s Kitchen, East Hampton Sandwich Co., HG Sply Co., Grimaldi’s Pizzeria and Silver Fox.
The new building has already leased 15,000 square feet of office space to Regus, which is outfitting the space for smaller office tenants looking for full service workspaces.
The retailers and restaurants are to begin opening this fall.
