Fort Worth-based Trademark Property Co. — operating partner for The Shops at Highland Village and the group working on the Victory Park renovations — has begun construction on a $3 million renovation that will significantly upgrade the Denton County property.

The Shops at Highland Village, a 389,090-square-foot Whole Foods-anchored shopping center, will get upgraded building exteriors, landscaping improvements and new amenities and signage for shoppers.

Trademark Property CEO Terry Montesi said the renovations will help improve the shopper experience and will help The Shops at Highland Village attract more shoppers.

“We want to make the Shops at Highland Village a more-inviting environment to shop, dine and gather, which is why we are investing in these upgrades,” he said.

Construction is underway on the renovations to The Shops at Highland Village. Trademark has hired 505 Designs as project architect.

The Fort Worth development firm is working on a number of properties in Dallas-Fort Worth, including another new Whole Foods-anchored development along the Trinity River in Fort Worth.
