VP of Asset Management – Fort Worth, TX

Overview

Based in Ft. Worth, the ideal candidate would possess a blended seven-to-twelve year background in retail and mixed-use property asset management including operational direction, financial analysis and reporting, budgeting, institutional investor relations, client management, and strategic planning. You will play a key role in driving value across the retail portfolio. A track record of working with institutional partners or capital sources is required.

Candidates should demonstrate a strong work ethic with exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate with a variety of stakeholders internally and externally. Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, problem solving ability, and leadership aptitude to develop and train analysts and associates. You will be part of a nimble asset management team that currently includes another Vice President and three Associates/Analysts.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and Execute Asset Management Plans

  • Identify, communicate, and execute strategic initiatives within a multi-market portfolio, maximizing total returns and improving key metrics.
  • Collaborate across a variety of departments including leasing, accounting, property management, development, and construction to identify, analyze, and execute value-add strategies.
  • Directly manage, and proactively collaborate with other team members to establish and maintain, positive client and investor relations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key industry players including capital providers, institutional owners, lenders, brokers, and consultants.

Reporting and Valuations

  • Supervise, and (as necessary) participate in the maintenance of, Argus and other internal valuation models.
  • Structure and review periodic asset management, operational, financial, valuation, and other reporting and analyses to internal corporate offices, investors, lenders, and other stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and manage cash flow and profitability.
  • Monitor capital markets and manage debt. Source and restructure debt as needed and maintain debt compliance.
  • Review, opine, and present annual budgets and reforecasts to ownership and other stakeholders.
  • Review and opine on complex leasing and other operational legal language prior to approval and execution.

Other Responsibilities

  • Manage property transitions including dispositions and onboarding of acquisitions.
  • Participate proactively in new business development.
  • Assist in the negotiation of joint ventures, purchase and sale agreements, LOIs, management, leasing, and other service agreements.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Business degree; MBA or relevant graduate degree a plus
  • Seven plus years of applicable experience in asset management and financial analysis
  • Experience with one or more institutional investors required

Marketing Director | Annapolis Town Center - Annapolis, MD

This position will lead the strategic formation and the day-to-day execution of the marketing plan for Annapolis Town Center in Annapolis, MD. Annapolis Town Center is a vibrant, open-air mixed-used development that serves the Annapolis market and surrounding communities.
