New luxury boutiques are popping up just in time for some inspired fall shopping in the Houston area. French luxury leather goods house Moreau Paris has landed in River Oaks District, while Louis Vuitton has found a home at Market Street in The Woodlands, both offering their own distinctive French take on upscale leather goods.
Moreau Paris takes up residence at River Oak District for a limited one-year engagement, bringing with it the brand’s signature cobalt blue walls and iconic tote bag, the Brégançon. Many of the signature bags are reversible and all can be personalized with contrasting handles, bold striping, monograms and more. Moreau’s selection of leather goods extends to luggage and accessories, which can also be customized, right down to hand-painted special drawings and hardware.
Houston’s River Oaks District was chosen as the first Texas location for Moreau. The 1,152-square-foot store is just the second Moreau in the United States. The brand has a store in New York and Toronto, as well as stores in Europe and Asia.
Louis Vuitton puts its own luxurious stamp on The Woodlands with the opening of its new 4,000-square-foot space. It’s the second Louis Vuitton in the Houston area (the other is in The Galleria) and continues the tradition of blending art and architecture in the store’s design.
