New property name, logo part of $100 million redevelopment

NAPA, Calif. (Nov. 18, 2015) – Zapolski Real Estate and Trademark Property Co. today launched a rebrand of the group’s Napa Center mixed-used development, unveiling a new name – First Street Napa – and corresponding new logo for the 380,000-square-foot property, located in the heart of Downtown Napa, Calif.

With two-and-a-half blocks of First Street frontage, the name First Street Napa was selected to highlight the property’s prominent location in the heart of the booming downtown core, serving as a placemaking mechanism for residents and visitors to the Napa Valley.

“Downtown Napa, and First Street specifically, is the only place in the Valley where a large concentration of synergistic shopping, lodging, and food and beverage venues can be delivered in a rich and authentic urban mixed-use environment,” said Todd Zapolski, principal, Zapolski Real Estate. “Based on this, the name First Street Napa was a natural fit for the property. We see immense opportunity here, and we’re being incredibly strategic in all aspects of this project – from land acquisition to naming – to make sure that we continue to transform Downtown Napa with the critical mass of retail and restaurants that the market needs.”

The new name and logo are part of a $100 million, 380,000-square-foot property redevelopment which will add approximately 40+ shops and restaurants and a 183-room boutique luxury Archer Hotel to First Street Napa. Additional redevelopment improvements will include new hardscape and landscaping, seating areas, water features and a public art program.

“Our redevelopment efforts are focused on transforming First Street Napa into a walkable multipurpose urban district and leisure destination with a compelling mix of shops and culinary venues, as well as locally curated art, landscaping, amenities and special events that personify Napa style,” said Tommy Miller, managing director and chief investment officer, Trademark Property Co. “The name First Street Napa, along with the supporting brand and logo, embodies that vision and brands the property as a central piece of Downtown Napa.”

Redevelopment efforts are currently underway with completion of the retail components slated for spring 2016 and Archer Hotel completion slated for spring 2017.
