Fort Worth-based Trademark Property Co., along with Pacific Coast Capital Partners, Coventry Real Estate Advisors and Southern Land Co., is preparing to begin the latest development at Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm in Allen.
The 750,000-square-foot mixed-use development is in the midst of a dramatic $2.5 million repositioning project, which includes a 51-foot high Watters Creek LED sign, a children’s play area, a new water feature and a new soccer practice field operated by FC Premier Soccer.
Now, the group is preparing to break ground on its 120-unit residential and retail building, which expands the concept within the development.
This is a fairly major evolution for this project, and we’ll see this with other projects moving forward,” Trademark CEO Terry Montesi told the Dallas Business Journal, who was featured in this week’s edition as the Facetime interview with a CEO.
The retail on the ground floor of the new project likely will be a cafe for residents and visitors to Watters Creek, he told me.
Along with the residential and retail building, there also are plans to develop a hotel as part of this phase of the project. The developments are expected to be complete by early 2015.
