True Food Kitchen has announced that it will open a second Houston-area restaurant next month.
The health food-obsessed eatery, co-founded by nutritional guru Dr. Andrew Weil will set up shop at 9595 Six Pines Drive in The Woodlands, according to a press release. True Food Kitchen will occupy 7.300 square feet of space, along with a bar that can be accessed from inside the restaurant and outside on the expansive patio. Like all other outposts of the restaurant, this location will be outfitted with eco-friendly furnishings, like chairs made out of recycled soda bottles and sustainable wood flooring.
True Food Kitchen first made its Houston debut back in 2014, bringing Space City its first eatery from Fox Restaurant Concepts. The Phoenix-based restaurant group has since split from True Food Kitchen, which now operates as its own entity, while expanding its presence here dramatically — its Italian restaurant North Italia has been open since 2015, and forthcoming spots like Flower Child and Blanco Tacos and Tequila are currently in the works.
True Food Kitchen will debut in The Woodlands on May 16.
