The property joins Market Street – The Woodlands in Trademark’s Houston portfolio
HOUSTON (October 28, 2024) — Trademark Property Company (Trademark), a mixed-use investor, developer, and operator, has been awarded the leasing assignment for LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch, a 412,900-square-foot open-air lifestyle retail center located in Katy, Texas, a suburb just west of Houston. The assignment marks the latest Houston property in the firm’s portfolio, which includes Market Street, a mixed-use destination developed by Trademark in The Woodlands, and Dunham Pointe, a master-planned residential and retail community in Cypress.
Completed in 2018, the 34-acre LaCenterra development is situated within the Cinco Ranch master planned community, a more than 8,000-acre walkable, nature-centric suburban enclave. In addition to 273,522 square feet of retail, the property features 139,378 square feet of office space. The retail is anchored by Trader Joe’s and Alamo Drafthouse Cinema and includes a diverse collection of retail, dining, and lifestyle tenants, including Athleta, CAVA, Lululemon, Lovesac, Warby Parker, Postino, Dish Society, Sephora, Starbucks, Pure Barre, and Nando’s PERi-PERi.
Trademark will handle leasing for the retail component of the property, with Daniel Goldware, who serves as Senior Vice President of Leasing, leading the team. LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch is managed by JLL.
“Since opening in 2007, LaCenterra has become the premier retail destination for residents of Cinco Ranch and the entire greater Katy trade area. In the same way we have evolved the merchandising at Market Street-Woodlands, we will apply our innovative, research-centric approach to upgrading the merchandising at LaCenterra, ” said Terry Montesi, CEO of Trademark Property Company.
At Market Street — The Woodlands, Trademark has executed a proven leasing strategy that prioritizes upscale, luxury retailers and F&B concepts. Notable tenants include Blue Mercury, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Saint Laurent, ALO, Mastros, Sixty Vines, and five-screen boutique theater Cinemark. The property also features Hyatt Centric The Woodlands, a four-star hotel.
“The Houston suburbs are a place where people want to be, which has made cities like Katy an ideal target for brands looking to expand and establish their presence in one of the state’s fastest growing areas,” said Daniel Goldware. “Prospective tenants that value access to affluent populations and proximity to respected, national brands will find exactly what they’re looking for at LaCenterra. We already have significant leasing momentum and look forward to bringing more in-demand retailers and restaurants to the property.”
In addition to LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch and Market Street – The Woodlands, Trademark’s mixed-use, retail, and institutional services portfolio includes Galleria Dallas, Lincoln Square, Left Bank, WestBend, Waterside, 5000 S Hulen and Alliance Town Center in Dallas-Fort Worth; Dunham Pointe in Cypress, Texas; La Palmera Mall in Corpus Christi, Texas; Zona Rosa in Kansas City, Missouri; Annapolis Town Center in Annapolis, Maryland; North Point in Alpharetta (Atlanta); Legacy Place in Palm Beach Gardens (Florida); and Perkins Rowe in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
