Leading mixed-use developer brings market expertise to unlock potential
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Oct. 3, 2018) – Trademark Property Company, a full-service real estate firm based in Fort Worth, Texas, will manage and reposition Annapolis Towne Centre, a 659,158-square-foot outdoor shopping center in Annapolis, Md.
Located along the highly traveled Riva Road corridor, and immediately accessible from US Route 50, Annapolis Towne Centre is a shopping, dining and entertainment destination minutes away from downtown Annapolis.
The mixed-use center includes over 50 tenants, including premier lifestyle retailers and restaurants like Whole Foods Market, Anthropologie, Bed Bath & Beyond and Restoration Hardware. Annapolis Towne Centre hosts popular events like its summer concert series, all of which will continue under Trademark’s management, while looking for new ways to serve the community.
“Annapolis Towne Centre is a popular destination and we are excited to help write the next chapter of its story,” said Terry Montesi, CEO, Trademark Property Co. “Trademark Property Co. has recently expanded its portfolio, and we have a strong track record of uncovering the hidden potential in these types of complex properties. We see a big opportunity at Annapolis to add vitality and provide a better customer experience through events, programming, enhanced guest services and creating the space for those to be successful.”
Strategic planning will begin immediately with a thorough visioning process that brings together experts in consumer research, operations, merchandising, design, placemaking and development with input from the local community. Thereafter, Trademark will set a strategic plan with concrete initiatives that will improve the property and redevelop it for the future based on the continuing evolution of the retail industry and mixed-use places.
The property will be jointly leased by Trademark and local firm, KLNB, which brings Washington, D.C. and Baltimore market expertise to the leasing team.
Trademark has a 26-year track record as a value-add operator and advisor to institutional investors, helping retail properties evolve to meet the needs and aspirations of the community.
