H&M and Charlotte Russe now open; Multi-million dollar property renovations complete
CEDAR HILL, Texas (Jan. 28, 2016) – Trademark Property Co., the operating partner for Hillside Village (formerly Uptown Village at Cedar Hill), has announced that Grimaldi’s Pizzeria will open a 6,500-square-foot location at the shopping center in summer 2016. Grimaldi’s, famous for its hand-tossed, coal-fired brick oven pizzas and calzones, fresh salads and delicious desserts, will be located in the former Patrizio’s space on the north side of the property.
“We are excited to bring Grimaldi’s to Hillside Village and offer area residents a casual dining option,” said Terry Montesi, CEO, Trademark Property Co. “Our leasing efforts to pursue Grimaldi’s were a direct result of community feedback, and we believe that their support played a major role in securing the lease. We’re pleased to deliver a restaurant that the community wanted.”
This fall, Hillside Village implemented a campaign to highlight the community’s wish for a Grimaldi’s to the restaurant’s visiting leadership. Over 220 community members signed an on-property banner calling for Grimaldi’s and over 600 expressed their support for a Grimaldi’s by posting comments and videos on social media using the #HVWantsGrimaldis.
“Grimaldi’s will be a fantastic addition to Hillside Village,” said Maranda Auzenne, general manager, Hillside Village. “Combined with the newly completed property renovations and recent store openings, Hillside Village truly is taking shape and becoming an even better reflection of the surrounding community, who we thank for their support during this time of evolution.”
Hillside Village recently completed a multi-million dollar property renovation, which includes a new children’s play area, Village Green promenade extension with bocce ball court, new property signage, new shaded seating areas, upgraded landscaping and lighting, public art and façade renovations.
In April 2015, Trademark rebranded the property Hillside Village, which was selected to reflect the renovation’s garden-like look and feel and pay homage to the area’s topography.
