Highland Village, Texas — Trademark Property Corp., the operating partner for The Shops at Highland Village located in Highland Village, Texas, announced Torchy’s Tacos has signed a lease for 5,262 sq. ft. at the recently renovated shopping center. In addition, Runway Seven’s flagship store will relocate this spring to a larger space.

“We’ve received positive feedback on the renovations to The Shops at Highland Village, and are pleased that prospective tenants are taking notice,” said Terry Montesi, CEO of Trademark. “With the renovations complete, I am confident Torchy’s Tacos will be the first of many new tenants to sign at the center.”

Torchy’s Tacos started out as a food trailer in Austin and has grown to include more than 30 locations in Texas alone. The taco shop will have a full bar featuring local beers and craft cocktails.

Trademark noted that Runway Seven has experienced steady growth at The Shops at Highland Village.  Runway Seven will relocate and double the size of its current location, which will be the brand’s largest store and flagship location.  Founded in 2008, there are currently 15 Runway Seven boutiques located in seven states offering a wide range of fashion-forward clothing and accessories.

Trademark recently completed its multimillion dollar renovation of the shopping center, which included upgraded building façades, common area and landscaping improvements, public art, new amenities for adults and children, and new signage and graphics throughout the property.
