The tragic loss of life caused by the flooding in the Texas Hill Country has galvanized the entire state of Texas to take action. Galleria Dallas, its ownership and management are committed to play a part in recovery efforts for those affected by this natural disaster.
Galleria Dallas ownership will donate 100% of admissions to the Galleria Ice Skating Center on Tuesdays July 8 and July 15 to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country. Furthermore, Trademark Property Company, which manages Galleria Dallas, will match all funds raised at 100%.
“It’s been said that in moments like these we are not strangers, but one community. Texas is hurting and so many have been affected by the flooding and tragic loss of life in Texas Hill Country. It’s time to wrap those who are grieving with our thoughts and actions. It’s time to be the village that lifts them and supports them,” said Angie Freed, Galleria Dallas General Manager. “Galleria Dallas is proud to help by raising funds for The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, a 501(c)(3) that directs all funds to vetted organizations providing rescue, relief and recovery efforts as well as flood assistance.”
The donation days are scheduled on Tuesdays so that the entire community can participate using the skate center’s two-for-one promotional days.
