Subcommittees & Interests

Communications

It is a goal of the Communications Committee to provide strategies to support and promote committee activities internally and to the rest of Trademark. We hope to ensure effective and timely modes of communication are utilized and ultimately engaging for all employees. We hope to educate, curate and share thought provoking pieces using various types of media.

CONNECTION & COMMUNITY

This commitee will actively pursue and identify opportunities for Trademark to engage with communities while cultivating partnerships with organizations with like-minded goals to the IDEA Committee. We hope to foster these relationships through networking and researching local groups.

GOVERNANCE & FINANCE

The Governance and Finance committee is responsible for assessing gaps in policies and procedures and formulating IDEA based solutions. Further, the committee is responsible for implementing and administering the committee’s budget and overseeing all other committee’s work to ensure legal, corporate and IDEA guidelines are followed.

TRAINING & EDUCATION

The goal of the Training & Education subcommittee is to create consistent internal learning opportunities that promote understanding of the value of IDEA principles. We will educate Trademark and the IDEA team and inspire a distribution of knowledge by creating safe spaces for sharing. We will connect the company with trustworthy external resources and experts, and create engaging ways to learn offered to all employees starting with the first few days of employment.

RECRUITMENT & HIRING

The subcommittee is focused on identifying and addressing barriers within the hiring process and pipeline that inhibit a diverse workforce. The goal is to achieve greater diversity by hiring qualified candidates free from biases for or against any individual or group of candidates.
