Development
Blake joined Trademark in 2024 and serves as Vice President of Development leading development efforts for new, ground-up and major redevelopments of retail and mixed-use projects. Since 2011, Blake has participated in more than $2.5 billion of commercial real estate transactions and has experience in mixed-use, office, retail, and multifamily development and acquisitions. Before joining Trademark, Blake was Director of Development for Crescent Communities in Dallas, TX where he led development efforts for the Commercial platform including site acquisition, due diligence, entitlements, design, financing, and execution. Prior to Crescent Communities, Blake worked with Dilweg Companies in Durham, NC and Reef Capital Partners in Salt Lake City, UT. Blake holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School in Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Brigham Young University. Blake is an active member of ULI, NAIOP, and TREC.

Cassie joined Trademark in 2015 and has twenty years of experience in the fields of landscape architecture, urban planning, and public space curation. She is currently managing the design of Trademark’s capital projects including new and existing asset redevelopment. Cassie and her team help build these well-crafted, curated and distinctive spaces by bringing in the local thread of designers, community artists and makers to enrich public spaces. She is also a commissioned artist and serves on the Texas A&M Professional Advisory Board for the Department of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning.

Monica Luera joined Trademark in June 2010 and currently serves as Vice President – Development combining over 17 years of due diligence and project management experience in the commercial real estate industry. Monica holds an excellent track record of strong working relationships with owners and partners, resulting in successful development experiences. Monica’s project experience includes the $70M redevelopment of Victory Park in Dallas, TX, where she managed $16M in city incentives, as well as predevelopment activities at several of Trademark’s development projects. Monica’s current portfolio includes Lincoln Square in Arlington, TX and various Trademark pursuits in Austin and Houston.
Outside of her day-to-day responsibilities, Monica serves on the board of the Trademark Make a Difference Foundation, is a member of Trademark’s IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Access) Team, a Board Member of the Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth (RECGFW), a Board Member of Goodwill North Central Texas, a Foundation Champion Director of the CREW Network Foundation, a member of Innovating Commerce Serving Communities (ICSC) and a member CREW Network’s local Fort Worth chapter. Monica is a Past President of CREW Fort Worth and continues to serve on various chapter committees. Recognition includes CREW Fort Worth 2020 Susan A. Halsey Excellence in Leadership Award, RECGFW 2018 Outstanding Young Leader of the Year and CREW Fort Worth 2014 Member of the Year.
Monica holds a B.A. in History from the University of Texas at Austin and is a graduate of the CREW Network 2019 Leadership Certificate Program which specialized in leadership development, industry training and mentorship. In June 2022, Monica completed the CRE Analyst FastTrack Program.

Lance joined Trademark in 2024 as Senior Vice President of Retail and Mixed-Use Development.
He has participated in the ownership of more than 100 properties throughout the United States and has overseen the acquisition, asset management, development, disposition and entitlements functions in depth for those properties. He has invested on behalf of institutions such as Apollo Real Estate, Guggenheim Partners, Protective Life Insurance Company and Goldman Sachs.
He is a 28-year member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) where he both chaired the Texas Convention in 2014 and served on the Government Relations Committee for three (3) years; he is Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and has been a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker since 1992.
He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin.
