The residential component and other key elements of a major mixed-use project near downtown Fort Worth are slated to open this year.
An executive of Fort Worth-based Trademark Property Co. provided Dallas Business Journal with an update on the timing and vision for The Vickery, an estimated $82 million development — one of the largest residential projects in Fort Worth’s Near Southside neighborhood.
Chad Colley, Trademark’s multifamily and mixed-use partner, said in a Jan. 24 interview that the exterior of the buildings and roadway improvements are complete. He expects the the apartments will open this fall and the townhomes slightly sooner. The public green space with a pickleball court, dog park and a restaurant is on track to open in the summer, he said. The entire project should be completed in spring 2026.
The Vickery will feature 307 apartment units, 14 townhomes and a 5,300-square-foot restaurant with a cocktail lounge on the second floor. Trademark topped out the project in December.
