Fall features full weekends to celebrate all the seasonal flavors we’re craving — from bourbon and beer to apples and smoky barbecue — across the country (and in the Caribbean).
New York and San Diego’s headline wine and food festivals return, Las Vegas’ multi-faceted Life is Beautiful extravaganza turns five, and Portland, Maine’s Harvest on the Harbor turns 10.
“The festival brings together the community and visitors alike to celebrate and experience our incredible food and drink scene,” says Stefanie Manning, Harvest on the Harbor owner and producer.
Plus, Texas’ best barbecue makers showcase their specialties in Austin, Dallas chefs celebrate farmers, and chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten headlines the Barbados Food & Rum Festival.
Dallas hosts the fifth annual Chefs For Farmers, November 2-5 at various venues, including The Adolphus, Lee Park and Victory Park. More than 30 chefs showcase local farmers at a bite night, dinner, a street food night, the main event tasting and beverage events.
