SVP Retail & Mixed-Use Development – Fort Worth, TX


Lead the execution of retail/mixed-use real estate projects, including new developments and major redevelopments. Lead a team through all aspects of the planning, development, leasing and construction processes.

Experience required in mixed-use and retail development. Exposure to diversified areas of real estate development such as: real estate finance, retail leasing, design and construction required. Must demonstrate a high level of integrity, creativity and reliability along with a strong work ethic. Act as a liaison between internal and external teams representing construction, design, leasing, and finance on development and redevelopment projects. Travel to development projects is required.

The SVP of Retail and Mixed-Use Development will be a member of Trademark’s senior leadership team, and work with other senior team members to help set goals and objectives for the company.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities


· Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Development Group and effectively mentor and guide the performance and career paths of direct reports.

· Establish and lead project teams (comprised of both internal and external resources), oversee the creation of the project Pro-Forma and schedule.

· Together with department VP’s, create and maintain relationships with public agencies and other constituents such as community groups involved in the entitlement process.

· Maintain an awareness of trends in mixed-use and shopping center industry.


· Provide leadership in reviewing development opportunities, overseeing the due diligence and negotiating control of development sites while simultaneously managing and organizing the pre-development process.

· New business generation and relationship building.

· Anchor deal negotiations and JV partner structuring in conjunction with retail, multifamily, hotel and associated development opportunities.

· Provide direction in the definition of project program, coordination of preliminary site plans and the identification of entitlement process requirements.

· Work with the finance group to provide estimated costs on proposed developments and re-developments.

· Understand and collaborate on the construction lending process.


· Together with the department VPs, collaborate with the consultants as they work through all phases of design, drawing documentation, coordination of meetings. mockup reviews and design related construction field issues.

· Responsible for oversight of the estimating of all development led projects, including initial pro-forma modeling, construction pricing, various levels of progress drawing pricing, through tracking construction cost to completion.

· Design, Consultant and Contractor Selection: Implement procedures for the selection of qualified contactors and negotiate contracts.

· Construction of the Project: Monitor consultant and contractor progress to ensure compliance with all agreements. Oversee the review and processing of monthly pay requisitions and all change orders.

· Project Close-out: Negotiate and resolve final consultant and contractor contract/project requirements. Ensure final acceptance for the entire project.

· Responsible for the oversight of the Tenant Services group.

· Develop a plan and schedule for completion of projects.

· Coordinate with construction personnel in preparation, review, and/or negotiation of Landlord’s and Tenant’s work exhibits for anchor lease documents.

· Review and approve all development related invoices.


· Bachelor’s degree with preference given to either Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Design or Construction Science Business degree.

· Ten years or more of supervising construction projects of increasing complexity with a minimum of five years in the retail and mixed-use industry.

· Demonstrated ability to be the Owner’s Liaison with GC’s, subcontractors, utilities, municipal officials, and institutional clients and partners.

· Ability to manage budgets and schedules with extreme attention to detail.

· Strong working knowledge of retail construction and construction documents.

· Background in reviewing architectural and engineering drawings to ensure that all specifications and regulations are being followed.

· Expertise in developing a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of projects with a logical process for utilization of resources.

· Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency.

· Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills required.

· Candidate must be enthusiastic, creative, flexible and have strong technical aptitude.

· Knowledge and Experience with Procore, AutoCAD (Preferred), Bluebeam or similar editing software.

This position will lead the strategic formation and the day-to-day execution of the marketing plan for Annapolis Town Center in Annapolis, MD. Annapolis Town Center is a vibrant, open-air mixed-used development that serves the Annapolis market and surrounding communities. The Marketing Director assists with all operating aspects of the center and is responsible for leading the marketing efforts of the property which includes the management, oversight and implementation of strategies and tactics for tenant productivity, community relations, special events, programming, digital marketing strategy, public relations and advertising in an effort to achieve the property’s goals. The Marketing Director will establish a working relationship with the General Manager and other center staff along with Trademark corporate teams, contractors, vendor agencies/freelancers, media, community leaders and tenants. The Director will also be asked to solicit sponsorships and help generate non-traditional revenue for the property. Director must be proficient in budget preparation, expense monitoring and budget re­forecasting.

Facilities Technician | Perkins Rowe - Baton Rouge, LA

The Facilities Technician is responsible for repairs and maintenance as directed by the Facilities Manager of common area and company owned facilities within the property. Additionally, the Facilities Technician will assist in identifying and minimizing overall property safety and liability issues. The Facilities Technician will assist with all property events and marketing set up and tear downs including various holiday decors.
