Maintenance Mechanic | North Point – Alpharetta, GA

Overview

Responsible for performing maintenance, repairs and other various duties at North Point Mall; both interior and exterior.  Responsibilities also include HVAC troubleshooting, painting, drywall repairs, plumbing, electrical, and lighting.

Summary of Functional Job Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain all painted surfaces, spackle and repaint as required.
  • Inspect, adjust and repair all building systems as required.
  • Replace lights and ballasts as needed (must be able to use lift equipment).
  • Set up and take down of all marketing displays.
  • General maintenance of all common areas.
  • Police grounds for trash and dispose accordingly.
  • Special projects as assigned by management.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Replace light bulbs and ballasts as required.
  • Clean, spackle, and repaint all mall common areas as required.
  • Monitor property for trash.
  • Set up and dismantle retail merchandising units.
  • Perform light plumbing and electrical repairs.
  • Inspect, adjust and repair all building systems as required.
  • Maintain stock storage areas and shop.
  • Set up and dismantle of special events/marketing and otherwise.
  • Adjust HVAC set points and lighting controls as required.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills.
  • General experience in building and ground maintenance to include electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and painting.
  • Ability to stand, bend, push, pull, lift, and climb ladders, as required.
  • Ability to safely operate knuckle boom lift equipment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and perform a variety of maintenance and cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to finish assigned tasks.
  • Positive and energetic team member; knows how to interact well with others.
  • Willingness to take on new tasks and prioritize them based on the needs of the property.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools.

Maintenance Technician | Market Street Woodlands - The Woodlands, TX

The maintenance technician is responsible for repairs and maintenance as directed by the facilities manager of the common area and company owned facilities at the property.
